Henry Van Styn – Founder & President From his earliest years in IT, Henry observed and experienced first hand the many unmet needs of small and medium sized companies for reliable and cost-effective IT systems and software. IntelliTree was founded in 2001 to develop solutions for these businesses. Prior to starting IntelliTree, Henry worked as an IT manager and network engineer for values.com (an early e-commerce company) where he designed and installed the company's data center and networks in both Cincinnati and New York. While studying Business Management and Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati, Henry served as Network Administrator maintaining the University College Computer Network for its 25,000+ student and teacher users. Since obtaining his degree and founding IntelliTree, Henry has successfully managed dozens of enterprise software development, construction, and major IT deployment and migration projects. Focusing on the needs of today's small and medium sized businesses, Henry leads the IntelliTree team in developing custom software and network solutions based on open-source platforms to insure the broadest compatibility, greatest reliability and lowest costs for IntelliTree's clients. With more than 11 years of professional IT and project management experience, Henry is an expert in Internet and networking technologies, network security, Linux, database systems, open source software, and all types of Information Technology systems. |

Charles Bodley – Network Engineer Charles is an expert in network and computer systems specializing in Windows and Linux platforms. In additional to his technical skills, Charles is also experienced in providing help desk and end user support. Prior to working at IntelliTree, Charles worked as a computer technician for the University of Cincinnati and was a data center technician for Accenture. After ten plus years of experience with PC and network hardware and software, and years of customer support experience, Charles remains motivated to stay on the forefront of technology, learning the latest new systems as they are released. |

Brian Henderson – Network Engineer Brian has worked in a variety of network and IT-related environments for more than 14 years. Brian's customer service expertise includes Windows help desk and end-user support, Windows Server Management for all platforms from NT4 to Server2003, and Apple/Mac end-user support as well. Brian has extensive network design and installation experience including proficiency in structured cabling installation on large-scale projects for clients such as Cincinnati Bell, the University of Cincinnati and Musak. Working in both small and large business environments, Brian has provided many companies throughout the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky/Lexington/Indianapolis regions with Managed IT services and new technologies that many thought were beyond their budgets and human resources. Brian brings knowledge of network systems, telephone PBX installation and programming, web site design, and hardware/software consultation that expands and complements the IntelliTree Team. |

Patrick Osterday – Network and Software Engineer With proficiency in both networking and enterprise software development, Pat adds a diverse set of skills to the IntelliTree team. Pat has experience creating and deploying enterprise web applications as well as the networking talent to scale the back end services. Before joining the IntelliTree team, Pat provided Linux, networking and Java/J2EE expertise to help create a highly scalable web solution for a local Cincinnati company. Pat also worked at the University of Cincinnati where he helped make the University College a nationally recognized example of how technology can empower faculty and students. Since joining the IntelliTree team in 2006, Pat has continued to increase his level of expertise with Linux and has added Ruby on Rails to the list of languages with which he has developed enterprise web applications. Pat has more than 15 years of professional experience in the IT field, and is an expert in Internet and networking technologies, Linux and enterprise application development. |

Coleman Kane – Chief Software Engineer Coleman is a highly skilled programmer with a wealth of experience in operating systems, hardware-level, and high-level application design. His language skills span the spectrum of procedural, object-oriented and functional programming languages, and scripting languages such as C, C++, Java, Scheme, Perl, Ruby, and others. Coleman leverages these skills to design scalable software solutions for IntelliTree clients. Coleman's development skills have been honed in the open source community on the GNU, Linux, and FreeBSD projects, among others. Coleman remains an active member of the FreeBSD project and the Open Source Community where he stays current with the latest technologies and contributes his expertise. Coleman received his degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. During his education, he worked for a number of technology companies including Texas Instruments and Apple. His work ranges from hardware design to software development, performance analysis, and testing. While in college, Coleman collaborated with a student group that developed the curriculum for and taught classes to help UC underclass students learn useful programming skills. Coleman's 15 years of programming experience and 10 years of BSD and Linux specialization have made him an expert in a wide range of development areas. As Chief Software Engineer, Coleman provides both design consultation and complex application code to the many software development projects managed by IntelliTree. |

Michael Conrad – Software Engineer Michael is an adept programmer in C, C++, Java, and Delphi. He specializes both in the low-level optimizations of system code, and the high-level abstractions of object-oriented design. He has a wealth of real-world experience in user interfaces and data management from his work in factory automation, and considerable knowledge in parsing, data encoding, and encryption from the coursework and thesis research for his masters degree. |

Zoltan Nemeth – Software Engineer Zoltan has a wide range of skills in web development techniques and languages including PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, MySQL, and Web 2.0 technologies. He is an expert in building highly responsive dynamic websites and intranet applications. Prior to joining IntelliTree, Zoltan co-founded a web development company where he lead and participated in multiple development projects, and refined his knowledge in object-oriented programming and project management. Zoltan was previously employed by SIEMENS AG Österreich as a C++ programmer and team leader working on multinational telecommunications projects involving Austrian, German and Hungarian development teams. During this experience, he became an expert in object-oriented programming and worked on a wide range of platforms such as Sun Solaris, HP UNIX and Linux. In addition to Zoltan's professional experience, he is a graduate of the prestigious University of Sciences ELTE, Hungary, with a Masters degree in Program Design and Mathematics. |

Tina Smirnova – Office Manager Tina's administrative and management skills were developed in the hospitality and medical fields. In hotel front desk and back office administration, she has been responsible for functions ranging from reservations and scheduling to bookkeeping and payroll. At Bethesda North Hospital, Tina coordinated the activities of 35 transporters and supported a variety of logistics functions in this very busy medical facility. Tina recently obtained her Associates Degree in paralegal studies from Cincinnati State where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. In addition to her full-time responsibilities at IntelliTree, Tina is also a full-time student working on her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business Management and plans to continue on to law school to become an attorney. She is trilingual – fluent in English, Russian and Estonian. |
